Baltimore County had eight teams advance to the region final game, three make it to the state semifinal game, and one play in the final game during the MPSSAA state basketball tournament. The Milford Mill boys and girls teams both made it to the region final game before losing to the eventual state champions. (Patterson won the boys 3A title and Aberdeen won the girls 3A title) In the 1A classification, Western STES and New Town played for the chance to make it to the state semifinals on both the boys and girls sides. The Western Tech Wolverines won the girls game and were state finalists, while the New Town Titans boys team won the region and lost to Dunbar in the final game. In girls action, Loch Raven and Owings Mills battled for the region crown in 2A and Owings Mills then lost in the state semifinal game. Congratulations to all teams for advancing as far as they did!
