W RANKINGS: New Pal up to sixth in third coaches’ poll

The third set of team rankings for the 2007-08 wrestling season have been released by the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association, with New Palestine the big mover as we head into Week 4 action. The Dragons move all the way from 11th up to sixth this time around.

Elsewhere, Crown Point cracks the first five by bumping up one spot to fifth, while Franklin, Evansville Reitz, and Jeffersonville makes their poll debuts at Nos. 12, 16, and 20, respectively. The first four – defending state champ Evansville Mater Dei at No. 1 followed by Mishawaka, Perry Meridian, and Indianapolis Cathedral – remain unchanged.
