Wils Alpern and Graham Franke scored twice each, and Jordon Rothschild scored once in the Towson of Baltimore County’s
boys’ soccer team’s 5-0 shutout of Baltimore City’s Patterson in Class 3A North Region semifinal action on Friday.

The victory was a shutout for the Generals’ Hunter Damon, whose teammates scored four goals over a 10-minute span of
the second half after leading just 1-0 at halftime.

The Generals, who routed county rival Catonsville, 4-1, in their quarterfinal on Tuesday, will visit county co-champion Franklin
in next Tuesday’s regional title game.

The Generals, of coach Randy Dase,  are making their seventh consecutive appearance in the regional championship contest.

Class 3A North girls soccer final: Hereford at Catonsville, 6:30, Nov. 6.
